Honoring Dick Van Dyke❤

Dick Van Dyke is timeless! His comedic timing and positive energy radiates endlessly across generations.

We grew up watching him in movies like Mary Poppins and Chittty Chitty Bang Bang, aside from his later shows/movies and earlier ones such as The Dick Van Dyke Show.

He resonates and relates across cultures, and is truly universal in his language of comedy. Dyke is an appreciated and respected actor who brings out the child in all of us!

Pizza time

Ordering pizza doesn't happen too often, but once in a while, go ahead and indulge the delicious scents and tastes that pizza evokes! Especially when its winter times, you want to warm up with the pizza flavoring.  You can even add fresh mozzarella to your pizza and some fresh steamed vegetables if you want to incorporate the healthy balanced portion for yourself and your kids. You can mix and match, so enjoy your healthy version of the pizza you feel is best for you!My personal favorite is to eat pizza with olives, garlic, steamed broccoli, and homemade apple juice.

Or you could always add some Pomegranate juice or Carbonated water which is nice and refreshing, depending on your taste pallet!

Today's dinner consists of some yummy homemade chicken cutlets; you can add a touch of turmeric root and cayenne pepper if you wish!

For dessert, my daddy loves eating mixed fruit, so here's a glimpse of the scrumptious blended berry salad

Mind & Heart Dualism❤

There always seems to be a conflict regarding which path to choose. This preemptive phase or occurrence well before we are all mature adults evokes our most intense questioning. There is no definite answer. It is all relative. Through experience and learned moments, the right choice to each of us, individuality, will easily come. With that, comes time.

Cartoons, not just a Network, but a Family/Community!

Doug!
Hey Arnold !
~~Cartoons are not just distractions for children. They are a template for the future. Depending on which cartoon you discuss, typically older cartoons including Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Doug, etc., evoke positive characteristics and create a strong foundation for children's minds long term. In essence, these cartoons promote positive well being, family oriented living, moral interactions, and diversity galore. One common effect here is the underlying comrade feeling within the characters. Each possess his/her own role in the family, community, neighborhood. The characters represent real life contribution to society. With patience, understanding, and common courtesy, these characters develop and grow up to portray positive role models. Children growing up with these shows, in retrospect, should ultimately embody this proposition. Having grown up watching these shows, I can reminisce about them and evaluate how they altered my way of thinking. They are positive, with a sense of levity, and overall appealing charisma. I appreciate these cartoons and applaud them for their unique way of bringing children, adults, and everyone in between together to appreciate them, and learn from them as well.~~
Arthur!
Arthur is a rational, exceptionally caring and giving character, thoroughly examining life. This cartoon overall basis its' predominant purpose on searching and diversifying life. Each friend is a different animal, a bear, a rabbit, etc. The kids learn to grow and learn about life and each other.
Scooby-dooby-doo! This unique gang with a dog on their side went on adventures as a united clan, typically mysteries that had to be solved. It was a team effort, each equally contributing to any given set of crisis. The common denominator here was that they worked together, fought together, and ultimately surpassed the evil monsters, together.  It can teach us a simple tactic in life's navigation: People need to stick together for the better good. Friends and family are only as powerful as they put in the effort. This is an "actions speak louder than words" concept. One that stresses communication, understanding, care, and appreciation for each other.

A true Classic, this cartoon to this day identifies with the trajectory of progressed time. As much as Tom & Jerry appeal to myself and the younger  generation, it equally generates excitement for my parent and grandparents. The mischief, co-reliability, co-dependance, unique relationship between the silent cat and mouse, represent constituent forces that us Americans often times experience on a regular day to day basis.

Disney Movies are also cartoons, but they are particular in that they tell a story of journey and destiny. Two of my favorite Disney Movies were on recently, so I thought I would share!

Rugrats was one of those family cartoons most kids grew up watching. It had family values, morals, ethics, and adventure.

A Whole New World-Aladdin
All you kids ready for some Aladdin tonight? Time for some fairytale fun and adventures with this magical love story. They are playing it on cable tonight. Just shows you the importance of happiness, freedom, choices, options, and chances. Time shows you when you're ready for any adventure you want to take. Enjoy!

The Glass Slipper, also known as Cinderella is playing on television right now! It takes me back to childhood memories. When good and bad were so easily disputable and clearly identifiable. Ah so simple and enjoyable.

Through these kinds of magical movies we come to realize we all have challenges to overcome and need to become a better version of ourselves.

Organics Shopping Day

Raw almonds ❤

Clearly Natural Bar Soaps ❤

When its time to shop, we usually do not just go to a store and buy whatever we feel like having at that very moment, because that way we would end up buying the whole store! That is why it is important to write down a list for all the items that you plan on getting. Makes this process much more quick and precise, without much wasted time. This is one way you can easily stay organized. Buy what you need for the week or month, and stock up accordingly. Remember that organic food and soups are expensive, so try to find a local health food store that has good prices.

A) Strawberry & blueberry salad

A nice healthy snack composed of strawberries, blueberries, maple syrup, and sour cream. Yum!

All about the fruit!

Papaya the fruit
So sweet and yummy
The taste is impeccably astute
As sugary as honey

You may choose your way
to eat it dry or raw
chewy or gooey anytime of the day
it even provides a workout for your jaw

Papaya is unique as it grows out of a tree
Covered in green
Surrounded by many, have a see
The trees line up, straight like a seam

Its tropical and filled with seeds
ranging in sizes
Unusually colorful like a pair of beads
may be eaten as soon as it arises

So enjoy a slice of papaya today
your choice of texture and taste
In the summertime is best, in May
The quality is no waste

The Apple/Pear fruit combination seems odd at first, well to me it did as least. But this unique co-existing tasty alternative seems to appeal to consumers.
The texture is a bit rough more so like a traditional pear, and the shape is more so like an average apple. However, the taste is somewhere in between the two fruits. Not too sweet and not too sour. Its hard to make out what it tastes like exactly, but your taste buds will be surprised, as it is not a common fruit.

If I were a Fruit...

Fruits are one of those essential food groups that give you an automatic burst of energy and a dose of natural sugar. From blueberries to watermelons 🍉, fruits range according to size, color, and what's in season. Diversity galore!

There are many tropical fruits, which are deliciously juicy and uniquely flavorful. Some of these are: bananas, coconuts, pineapple, mango, papaya, and guava. Their flavors are accurately sour or sweet depending on the specific fruit.

The following fruits are organized in categories according to specific months and/or seasons. These are specific prime periods for the fruits which are applicably in season and thus more tasty and accurately ripe.
--During the spring/fall seasons: oranges might be preferred.
--Aug/Sep:strawberries, blueberries, apricots, grapes, honeydew
--July: watermelon, peaches

From all if these delectably enticing fruits, if I were a fruit, I would choose apples. Aside from being sweetly delicious and melting in your mouth tasty, there are so many different varieties if apples. From Gala to Red Delicious to Empire to Cortland, you could conceivably choose an apples according to your current mood. ☺ In addition, they are the best preservable fruit not consumed with sugar like grapes or bananas.
